My husband and I really enjoy screaming that one at the top of our lungs when we hear it. I also like "Black" by pearljam. And I never really had breakups that were angry on my part (more like just running away and hoping I don't get caught)... but all that aside here are a couple of suggestions.

1. Can't You See by the Marshall Tucker Band. This is probably as 'southern' as my taste for 'southern rock' gets, but this is a great song.

2. Shaking The Tree by Peter Gabriel. This is more like a post-breakup liberation song, I think.

Of ALL songs I've ever heard the most evil, angry, betrayed, naked raw still bleeding pain had to be I'll Get Even by Megadeth. The first time I heard it, I said to my husband, jeez, if I knew I was the person this song was written about, I'd be scared shitless. It's that intense.

Actually, Megadeth is a real good band for when you're pissed off; Dave Mustaine plays with more hate and anger than anyone I've ever seen. It's not an approach for everyone, but it sure does have its place, and he does it absolutely.

Just my two paisa.Satyavati devi dasihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13980257934310271457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21353439.post-85026300343665924142007-06-24T10:19:00.000-05:002007-06-24T10:19:00.000-05:00Okay, first of all, that was NOT homo-erotic; you ...Okay, first of all, that was NOT homo-erotic; you got me all excited for nothin'. You want homoerotic? I got your homoerotic right here.

My favorite break-up song would have to be "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette. Because she's calling in the middle of dinner, and every time she scratches her nails down someone else's back, she hopes you feel it ... and that's just cold.Red Sevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10374428870925284956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21353439.post-29445676905694349242007-06-24T00:37:00.000-05:002007-06-24T00:37:00.000-05:00Would you count "The Night The Lights Went Out In ...Would you count "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia"?
