Why Separation of Church And State Is A Good Idea
Ephesians 6:15
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
Ephesians 5:22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Colossians 3:22
Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
Timothy 6:1
All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against.
Titus 2:9
Urge bondslaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,
This from The Good Book.
You'll have to pardon me if I cast some Judeo Christian ethics aside when detrmining how to live my life and raise my child.
You know, JEWS wrote all that stuff.
ReplyDeleteBut you did a good job of quotemining, and leaving out about letting runaway slaves go free (which would have ended slavery) and a lot of other stuff.
But quoting it this way is what they do at Storm Front and other places.
Those darn Jews!

By the way, you can certainly cast away any ethics you want.
ReplyDeleteJust keep you hands off my kids with your atheistic propaganda, which is only another form of bigotry.
Atheists are so funny! After telling us there is no God to tell us what to do, THEY end up telling us what to do!
Ain't gonna happen, sport!

Ahh...so when, exactly, did you start putting your hands on other anonymous peoples' kids? And are anonymous peoples' kids hard to find, sort of like witness protection kids? And when you finally put your filthy atheistic hands on these kids, does it rub off like that suff that gets into the eyes of people in The X-Files? Or is it more like cooties - rubs or washes right off? Most importantly did you touch Scully with those hands and cause her to question her faith and no end of emotional distress? 'cause I still got a major thing for the lady and will take you right out. And finally when did you start getting rightous anonymous commenters anyway?
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling there's way more going on here than meets the eye.
ReplyDeleteNick & Jools - I make it my policy to never interact with anonymous commentors, door-to-door missionaries, urban street beggars or telemarketers.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that bugs me more than religious proselytizers is hypocritical atheist proselytizers.
ReplyDeleteSWG, agree with you 100%
