The reason I implemented Comment Moderation was because I was starting to recieve a lot of annoying spam comments.
That resulted in anyone following one of my posts also getting annoying spam comments. I started getting complaints about the spam.
The ONLY reason I moderate comments is to protect my followers from spam.
That being said, I apologize for the fact that I sometimes get so busy downloading mature lesbian midget BDSM porn that I forget to check if there are pending comments that need to be moderated.
But I can assure you that 99.9999999% of all comments will be published. Yes, even yours.
pffft. you just want to read what people are saying on your blog before anyone else does.
ReplyDeleteit's that geezer fear of being behind the times.
ps- spammers should all die horrible deaths
I can understand why you've done it but it sure does limit debate and interaction on the blog.
ReplyDeleteOK, instead of moderating ALL comments I changed the settings so I only need to moderate comments on blog posts over 2 weeks old.
ReplyDeleteI hope this will strike a better balance between protecting you from spam and allowing a more open conversation.
I go ahead and put em on but check everyday and of someone is a twit, I might delete them, but it's very very rare that I actually do.
ReplyDeleteUsually I just comment in retort or thanks.
Blogging and commenting is part of the fun of what we do.
I can't be bothered to check something every day.
ReplyDeleteExcept for your favourite pr0n sites. Those get checked daily MINIMUM.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being open to feedback! :D
Hope March 14 totally rocks for you!
Hey, I remember March 14th. I don't think it will rock for me, which is a damn shame
