Belvoir Winery

A magnificent new venue has opened in Clay County. Belvoir Winery has repurposed the old International Order of Odd Fellows home in Liberty.

Dr. John L. Bean and his wife, Marsha have spent the last 15 years rehabilitating the site, nurturing the vinyard and restoring the buildings.

It is an absolutely gorgeous location for weddings, receptions, meetings and photo shoots.

It is also very accessible. When I was there this afternoon, the TV in the wine bar was tuned to the Chief's game and there were about a dozen folks enjoying the game and the ambience.

I plan on visiting this place often.

I love seeing old buildings restored and this was gorgeous inside and out. The stained glass..the woodwork..the grounds, all beautiful. I hope it is a success for them.

Great pics, XO

XO - My late sister and her late husband lived in NY State and loved to tour the wineries.

My sister like to point out that at the beginning everyone was quiet and dignified - then by the end of the tour it was like a party.

Great pictures as usual.

Hi, I'm the event coordinator at Belvoir, Rachel. I loved finding these photos! I was wondering if you could email and we could chat about us being able to use these photos to show brides fall on our property, a large tent, etc. My email is BelvoirWinery@gmail.com.

Thanks for such a positive post about Belvoir! We'll have concerts and movies on the lawn this summer. You'll have to visit again.

Thanks again, Rachel
