KSHB "Business In Action"

These are blatant commercials inserted into the middle of a news broadcast.

Do the businesses pay for these ads? How much do they cost? Who decides which ones go on and when? Are there any tie-ins with similar news stories?

Why doesn't KSHB have any disclaimers warning viewers that what they are about to see is not news, but an advertisement?

How fucking stupid do they think we are?

I've been telling people that for years. But I think all news stories that involve a product or service are a commercial any way.

Like most people, I usually don't pay that much attention.

But something about this one just slapped me.

"OK. There is a jewelry business in Kanas City that makes jewelry. How the fuck is that news?"

I think segments like that should include a disclaimer that it was paid advertising and disclose how much was paid.

News on the news? If you expect that now days, you're going to be disappointed.
