Dining room table and 6 chairs. Table is 70" long. Leaf adds another 18".

Wish I had room for those cherry bookshelves...gorgeous.
You probably already know about Craig's List, but if you don't, go to google and check it out. Costs nothing. I listed some furniture when I moved and had tons of calls and sold a lot of stuff using that venue.
That 25" entertainment center is going to be a bitch to sell. Nobody buys such a small set for the living room any more. Rest of the stuff looks old school good, though.
crse - don't panic. It's a house, not an apartment.
joe - but it would go great in a bedroom or basement.
sponge - I haven't entirely decided on selling the desk and bookcases yet. I'm seriously considering not even replacing my dining room furniture and just turning the dining are of the apartment into my office. I'm on my computer every single day. I can almost count on one hand the number of times I've eaten at the dining room table. Pretty much Christmas and Thanksgiving. That's it.
emaw - the broadsword stays with me. I don't own any guns...I have to have some sort of home defense system.
Good luck with the sale that may or may not happen.
Are you trying to recoup some money out of the deal? Because if your main goal is just to get rid of stuff, you could always donate it to a good cause that needs really nice furniture and take the tax deduction on the going rate ...
Not as much fun as cash, but an option should you need to go there.
lunatic and eric - just downsizing and selling off unneeded "detrious" from old relationships. It's all really good stuff! I just don't need it anymore. Young people do. I don't.
After 30+ years of conspicuous consumption, I'd love to get back to "a pickup truck or less" of "things".
Moving shouldn't be so traumatic. Life should be more flexible and spontaneous.

What about that broadsword? Looks like it would come in handy since I'm no longer happy using my Gillette Sensor.
The leather glider is nice. ou will miss that.
Yeah, let me know about those bookshelves . . .
WOW that's a lot of wood. NO HOMO.

Holy cow. Your apartment is nicer than my house.

No guns? Thanks for the heads up.
We'll be over to get the furniture and wood paneling in a few minutes.
Just Kidding.
