Hunkered Down in the Fortress of Solitude

We're all stocked up on food, batteries, candles, snacks, movies and video games, prepared for whatever may come with this ice storm.

My daughter, young Galadriel Tanqueray Onassis, and her friend Dezzy (Dezzy is over here so much she's like a second daughter) came over last night and they will be here with me until the storm is over.

Last night I made burgers and fries and we watched the latest Bad Movie from Netflix.

Later we watched "Jesus the Musical" (see earlier post) and the other Jesus clip. Then hilarity ensued as we swapped Jesus jokes, dead baby jokes, quadraplegic jokes and yo mama jokes.

As a father, I try to set a good example.

Tonight I'm fixing a big ol' pot of beanless chili and some good cornbread.

There is a rumor that we may all watch "A Hard Day's Night" together, but I don't believe it.

Stay warm and be safe.
