I Predict....

John McCain and Barack Obama will be the big, clear, winners of Super Tuesday.

Hillary is too insincere, too calculating (was that another tear yesterday?) has too much baggage and doesn't represent change.

Romney is batshit crazy and will tell anybody anything to win. And he wears magic underwear. And he thinks the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County, MO.

Huckabee is a right wing, religious, fanatic who wants to take back America for Jesus.

Sane, rational people will finally wake up and cast these 3 stooges to the ash heap of history and nominate McCain and Obama.

Fuck Tim Russert. You heard it here first.

....wish you were right. i voted for Obama, myself, and believe he's best fit to lead us out of the diaspora Shrub has blindly taken us.

however, believe it or not, no matter how much they front, people are generally appalled and scared of change - they WANT the same comfortable routine, just as they WANT to watch the same show on television, listen to the same music, pretty much think the same thoughts year in and year out.

for that reason, it will be hillary and mccain.

and, frankly, that may be a blessing for obama.

We voted for Obama.

doc - I agree with you about people being generally scared of change. Hell, I'm not that crazy about change. I like for things to be predictable.

But I think you are wrong about this year.

CNN is making a lot of projections right now with only 3-5% of the results being reported.

I think America is in for some surprises tonight.

Don't go to bed too early.

I think Hillary and Obama are going to pretty much split it 50/50 but I will predict a big loser: Romney. But let's let him stay a little longer so he can continue to spend his own millions on a campaign to nowhere, shall we?

go to bed?!?

are you CRRRAAAAAAAAZY!!!!!

not a chance, d00d!

p.s. - i'm not listening to anyone call anything: I'm working and looking at the results roll in on The NYT front page; they tend to jump the gun alittle, but nowhere near as bad as CNN or AP who, incidentally, waited 2 nano-seconds after the polls closed to call NY for Clinton.

My gut tells me Clinton/Obama will be decided by California...

Nice post over on "Chatterbox," but seriously, dude, it's like talking to the dead in the cemetery over there - or more accurately, the living dead.

this is a good detailed linkof what's happening...

Well, you got it half right.

I too voted for Obama. I just don't want any more political monarchy.

I didn't realize that the moving up of the election in California would matter, and I didn't change from Independent to Democrat. Though the rumor here was that Indepenedents would be able to vote in the Democratic election. When I opened up my absentee ballot I was shit out of luck. Which is a shame because I'd have voted for Obama.

Anytime you can attatch 'batshit crazy' to a canidate, you should venever vote for that person.

Obama is my choice, and I hope he goes. The others still have that 'not-so-fresh' feel about them.

I'm tellin' you guys, it will be Hillary vs. McCain with McCain winning and another 4 (at least) years of Republicans in the White House.

You all discuss this as if it weren't already a foregone conclusion.

I still haven't decided who I'm voting for. I kinda like all the candidates, except Huckabee. He scares me. A lot.
