Once upon a time, country music was really country.
That was good, but it wasn't true country. That was stoner, hippy, Texas-rock country.
This was the real thing.
Hank Williams was the Elvis Presley of country music.
If it ain't twangy and nasally, it ain't country!

A lot of people talk up Hank Jr, but while his stuff is fun his dad was the real deal.
He was original and sincere, and a fantastic musician.
Hank III has some good twangy stuff, just like his grandpa.
