The Rev. Jesse Jackson apologized Wednesday for saying Barack Obama is “talking down to black people” during what Jackson thought was a private conversation before a FOX News interview Sunday.

Jackson was speaking to a guest at the time about Obama’s speeches in black churches and his support for faith-based charities. Jackson added before going live, “I want to cut his nuts off.”

His microphone picked up the remarks"

THIS is exactly what people are talking about when they say they want CHANGE.

An end to the knee-jerk reaction to any criticism of African-Americans and any suggestion that they may be at least partially to blame for their own predicament as inherently racist.

Moderate Republicans should be embracing Obama for his endorsement of the Cosby Position.

When consuming any media outlet, or listening to any media pundit, ask yourself this question...

Is this helping to bring people together? Or is this helping to drive people apart?

I won't presume to tell you which choice to endorse.

Your conscious should be telling you that.

I agree most people want change. Hell, I know I do. I'm just disappointed that there aren't any candidates (Obama included) who are in favor of real change.

Wasn't the Great Democrat Congressional Takeover of 2007 supposed to change things? You know, Nancy Pelosi and all that rot? And here we are a year and a half later and nothing has really changed.

Couldn't agree more. All people should be embracing what Obama and Cosby have said about the African American culture. Though, I would argue it's not just an African American cultural problem, it's an American cultural problem as these symptoms are prevelant in "white" culture, just less seen because there are more of us and we a spread out across many communities.

People need to start realizing that their actions have consequences and stop relying on the government to save us from them.
