December on the Missouri River

This is on the East Bank looking East at sunset

On the East Bank looking North at sunset.

This is on the East Bank looking West at sunset.

These are 8 dead Opossums.

I have no idea why these are gathered together on a boat dock.

But I have to admit to being a little bit afraid that they were actually zombie opossums that would rise up and chew me to death when the sound of my camera shutter awoke them from their unholy sleep.

Hoping that whatever critter left this print is the Opossum Predator.

I hope somebody can identify that print. My first thought was racoon, but I'm no expert.

Racoons can be very vicious. They killed one of my neighbor's dogs and very nearly killed the other one and these were not small dogs. The racoon fought the dog and then drowned him in the pond. Scary shit!

Werewolf print.

Fresh too, I'd say.

Big Foot maybe???

No really I am not sure but once again you have captured with your camera the beauty of nature.

I love being outdoors and seeing things before mankind comes along and makes a mes of it.

Awesome pics once again I have enjoyed them good work HSWG.

Its not a raccoon; not enough fingers. It looks like bear tracks to me, but that's not very likely.

BTW, are you sure the possums were really dead?

And finally, nice blog.
I stalked you here from May's Machete.
