Roasterie DC3 Photo Contest

The Roasterie recently installed an actual DC3 on top of their HQ on Southwest Blvd.

The venerable DC3 imagery has always been at the core of their "air roasted coffee" brand. Now they have a real one!

They are sponsoring a photo contest centered around their new skyline icon.

The only reason I have any shot this at all is due to their judging citeria:
Public Appeal (40%)
Creativity/Originality (30%)
Fit to Contest Theme (20%)
Quality (10%).

It's the low quality expectation that gives me an edge!

This isn't a photography contest. They want images for coffee mugs and T-Shirts and such. So, here are the photos I'm considering submitting.

Assume the first one is Number 1 and the rest are numbered sequentially, vote in the comments and let me know which ones you would submit.

IF I win the First Prize of a "Cupping for 4 people" (I don't even know what that is but they say it's worth $400), and you voted for my winning entry, then you wil be invited to the "cupping".

So here are the possible submissions.

My favorite is #2, but you stand the best shot of winning with the final one. Good luck!

Oh boy this is hard. I'm going to go with #2 and then #3. I'm trying to think of what colors would work best on tees, cups, etc. and I think those would be easiest. The orange are beautiful but I think that might be too hard to get right on different materials.

If "cupping" means the same thing now as it did when I was in college you definitely want to get permission before doing it to four of your friends, because you do not need more assault charges on your record.

#2, with #3 coming in a close second for me.

Good luck, XO! You should have this one in the bag...

One.
And a cupping is something a gay tailor gives you when you are being fit for slacks.
