Serendipitous Weirdness

I saw a thing where Google Earth is adding a really cool layer to their images.

You pick a location...say Paris; and by using this "timeline slider layer" you will be able to see how that location has changed over the years. I decided to try it out.

I remembered reading an article about how Kilimanjaro is losing its snowcap due to global warming. So (without actually checking for the correct spelling, or knowing if the feature is even available or not), I clicked on Google Earth and searched for "Kilaminjaro".

I won't spoil the fun for you. Just go to Google Earth and do a search for "Kilaminjaro". Then use it as an example for your children why basic skills such as spelling truly are important.
