This has been posted on lots of other sites. I'm just spreading the word.
Cheney et al knew THIRTEEN YEARS AGO why we shouldn't invade Iraq and what would happen if we did.
This should be EXIBIT A at The War Crimes Tribunal at The Hague for the Bush Administration.
Holding these ignorant bastards accountable would be the first step towards restoring our relationships with other countries around the world.

But the thing is, that interview was done, what, 6.5 or 7 years before 9/11? Maybe that changed things when it came to how the Bush admin saw the relations in Iraq. And yes, yes...I know that Sadaam had nothing to do with 9/11. I know. But the world had a wake-up call from the middle east on 9/11. It wasn't just a matter of dealing with a little under 150 casualties any more.
I still think it'd be interesting to see how things would be right now if we had a Democrat in office all this time. I know it's a "what if?" scenario that doesn't really matter since it didn't happen and so I should stop wondering already, but I don't know why...I just can't.
Hard one for Cheney to defend. Even given 9-11, they knew exactly what would happen but still didn't have an exit plan.
