Crap...here it comes

A wise man once told me, "Four wheel drive is for getting home FROM work...not getting TO work."

This should be "fun".

I'm so excited! I get to blow past those losers, in my 4 wheel drive SUV, while their little front wheel drive Hondas get stuck going up hill.

I'm so scared someone is going to ask me for a ride to work.

Wait. The forecast is for two-inches of snow, right? We're not talking blizzard here guys. I mean, your average KCK basement meth-lab produces more than two-inches in a single afternoon.

And I hate to tell you D, but my old little front-wheel drive Acura (with Honda engine, of course!) used to blow* past plenty of those heavy-ass 4WD SUVs on flat spots and hills alike! Because front wheel drive is often better for driving in snow. 4WD is made for off-roading when all 4 wheels might be necessary for getting one out of a mud puddle, no? 4WD in snow just gives you more wheels to lose control with, my friend!

Did y'all see my post about my open-toe shoe blunder for the day? Don't you wish you were me?

*And by "blow," I mean of course that I drove carefully around town with the sense that one should drive with in such weather as we're experiencing today. Because it's really not worth it to me to test things in such a manner...I like the fact that I don't have to speak to my insurance company very often. They're a pain in my ass...

I'm staying at work until the bitter end. By then, the people who freak out about snow will be out of my way and I'll be free to go to the store in peace on my way home.
