Singer-Songwriter Dan Fogelberg Dies
I wasn't a huge Fogelberg fan.
But I remember going to an Eagles concert at Arrowhead in the 70's. The warm up acts were Dan Fogelberg and Linda Ronstadt.
Fogelberg was up first.
His band didn't show due to some sort of logistical FUBAR.
So it was just him.
He went on anyway.
One guy, with one acoustical guitar, entertaining a PACKED Arrowhead Stadium waiting for The Eagles.
That was amazing! Just an incredible performance.
I'll always remember that.
R.I.P. Dan.

A breif blog post is all the effort I can muster.
My wife gave me tickets to a Dan Fogelberg concert for my birthday once when we were dating. Uggh.
Every time I hear Dan's name all I can think of is this Bloom County cartoon!

My mom & dad were big Fogelberg fans and I hate-hate-hated him, till I fell in love with a Dan Fogelberg wannabe, then all of a sudden I was a big authority on Dan Fogelberg. I cried last nite when I heard the news, mourning my parents' youth
