Yesterday afternoon I took my daughter, young Galadriel Tanqueray Onassis, and her friend Amber out to Long View Community College for the Kansas City Kite Clubs 2nd annual Flights of Fancy.

Damn! That would have been fun. Instead I cleaned house since we were having a friend over for home made pizza.

keith - I'm preparing for the Obama presidency which, as we all know, will be filled with colorful kites, magical unicorns, rainbows and puppies.
I heard that on the Fox Channel so it must be true. Because they are Fair and Balanced. It says so right on the Tee Vee.
Awesome photos. I had no idea about this event but I remember the club's coverage last year, they need better publicity or a blog.
