Hey Lady, Wanna See My Trilobite?

This is for the fossil-lovin' Satyavati.

I tried to take a picture of my Trilobite but my digital camera's auto-focus can't handle it. So I just scanned the fucker at 600 dpi.

I can't claim to have found it. I bought it, fair and sqaure. Many years ago.

I just like having little pocket trinket that is older than the dinosaurs.

Mine seems to belong to the CORYNEXOCHIDA order.

"Is that a fossilized specimen of a trilobite clade with a biostratigraphy range from the Lower Cambrian to the Middle Devonian in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

OMG.. you ROCK!
I was just sitting here reading (I swear) "Invertebrate Palaeontology and Evolution" by Euan Clarkson and I decided to flip through my fav blogs. Since it takes so long for my dialup to load I can actually read a book while the pages come up.

And what do I find but you with a TRILOBITE!

Man, I just KNEW I loved you.
