My 14 year old daughter, young Galadriel Tanqueray Onassis, just informed me that I am her Best Friend.
Life is good.
Nothing else really matters.

Cool! You can't die now, it would break her heart. So take better care of yourself. There's not enough good dads out there.
I think maybe my kid did the same thing but she chose to express the sentiment with a knuckle-out punch to my shoulder blade.
That girl can hit.
In the interest of full disclosure I *had* just poked a spot on her knee after saying "AWESOME BRUISE GIRL!" in praise of soccer field battle scar.

Nooo! You can't die now. We need cool dads around. :-) I'm glad your daughter feels that way about you.

Mine passed away almost 8 years ago, and I still haven't gotten over it. I never will.
Wow, that's so sweet! I still remember the crushing day when norm realized he couldn't marry me. You know? Im 37 and my dad is still on the short list of BFFs. You got a keeper there sir.
