Downtown Kansas City Photo Safari

Last summer I loaded up the Nikkon, the telephoto, the tripod, some portrait film and headed downtown to capture some of the architectural detail in the financial district.

Tonight I stumbled across the prints from that photo safari and decided to share them with you. I scanned them at 400 dpi, so feel free to click to embiggen.

So without further comment, I present downton KC.

These are gorgeous. At first I thought the building said 666 (but I realized: no, it's not the White House..). It is a tremendous piece of architecture. I hope it's duly preserved so it never gets replaced by a Seven Eleven or anything.

Plus.. really nice camera! And I love that embiggen word.
