Health Care Reform In A Nutshell

Not dying shouldn't be a function of how rich you can make someone else.

In a civilized society, everyone should have equal and affordable access to the most advanced health care available.

Anything less is cruel and barbaric.

It's that simple.

That's like saying everyone should have equal protection under the law, or equal access to fire protection, or equal access to literature.

Don't you know that equality of anything is socialisms!

You are absolutely correct. It's not about "me" it's about "us."

You make a good point in you post. I just wish the Obama administration, the majority party or, hell, even the minority party would propose a plan that would get us closer to what you suggest.

Quoting the only unelected President ever on government is rich irony.

Ha! I don't think you're an idiot at all. I read your comments over at Jo Joe Politico. You're not going to win any arguments with him.

Believe me. I've been there. No matter what you present as evidence, he's always right.

Joe's not a bad guy. He is sincere in his beliefs, and so am I, even though they are 180 degrees from his, and he's a bit self-serving in that only his way is the "American" way.

I see on his blog that he's praying for the health care bill to NOT pass. God will answer him, if I understand his post.

So, if it passes. Does that mean God believes in Mr. Obama's health care reform? How can it not mean that?
