I feel sorry for the people who haven't seen the series' he refers to, since they won't get the funniness of his joke about the 3rd chapter. But HELL, man! Thank you for posting this. I love Gervaise, and hadn't any idea he did stand-up. I might have to look into that for the fiance's birthday...

OMG emaw, that is AWESOME! I didn't even notice that the band was playing for a bunch of pre-teen kids until the guys mentioned something about the chubby bored one leaning on the piano in the background at that one point. HA! Yes, he definitely wound up making a better career choice down the line, IMO. (Even though I think he looked like a hotter version of David Bowie in his Seona Dancing days. Yowza...)
You should also check out Julia Sweeney's LETTING GO OF GOD. Hilarious.
