The Mormons

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE and FRONTLINE, two of PBS' most acclaimed series, join forces to present The Mormons, a new documentary series about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"A four-hour exploration into the richness, the complexities and the controversies of the Mormons' story as told through interviews with members of the church, leading writers and historians, and supporters and critics of the Mormon faith."

You can watch the entire series on line here.

Not quite as entertaining as Big Love, or as inflammatory as some of my own posts.

But probably more objective and informative.

I rented the dvd at blockbuster, very interesting but way too long, pretty much a testimony that people will believe anything. time to start my own cult.

I watched the first part tonight. I thought it was pretty interesting and well-rounded (although I'm sure the Utah Mormons hated it). Hell, I even learned a couple new things I didn't know about Church history.

I'm disappointed no mention was made of endless Celestial sex. I think I should write PBS a letter.

You have to pay for the subscription or pledge to PBS for the Mormons Gone Wild: Independence DVD.
